Tupelo Press Invites You to Participate in a Week-Long, Autumn Residency and Workshop on-site at  the Country’s Most Exciting Contemporary Arts Museum

Jeffrey Levine & Jim Schley/Tupelo Press: Poetry Workshop. $1,500
 
A week-long residency and workshop for poets, combining writing time in a studio of your own at MASS MoCA, plus instruction and generative exercises inspired by exhibits and the architecture of the MASS MoCA campus. The week includes multiple opportunities for attentive and detailed review of your work by Tupelo’s Editor-in-Chief, Jeffrey Levine, a renowned poet and editor, and one of the country’s leading writing instructors, and a guest appearance by Jim Schley, Managing Editor of Tupelo Press, former co-editor of the New England Review, former Editor-in-Chief of Chelsea Green.
All residencies and workshops are limited to the first 8 participants who enroll. In addition to providing extensive one-on-one time with the instructors, the residency will include 24/7 access to your own private, furnished studios (one for each participant) in a renovated mill building at MASS MoCA (the renowned Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art located in North Adams, MA in the heart of the Berkshire mountains), starting Friday at 4:00pm and continuing thru the following Friday at 11:00am.
Fees also include 7 nights of lodging in a newly renovated building directly across the street from the museum (private bedroom for each participant – with shared kitchen & bath). Contact Tupelo Press for information on obtaining other local lodging, if desired. Fees do not include transportation or meals (other than a lovely group dinner served at the Tupelo Press Loft).
