Tupelo Quarterlyis pleased to announce the launch of a new issue, TQ5, the first of Volume II with Christopher Kondrich as its Editor-in-Chief.
TQ5 includes the winner, finalists, and semi-finalists of its Poetry Contest judged by Amaud Jamaul Johnson, editorial features by Stacey Waite and Andrea Applebee, a celebration of the life and work of Allen Grossman, a new prose series titled Chapter One, as well as beautiful translations, short stories and visual art.
The winter issue of Tupelo Quarterly launching in February 2015 (TQ6) will feature a prose contest, submissions for which will close on January 1. Poetry, hybrid work, translations and visual art can be submitted to the open submission category, which has the same deadline. The judge for the contest will be announced shortly. Submissions are accepted via Submittable here.
Beyond TQ5 and TQ6, Tupelo Quarterly is planning a spring themed issue:Pilgrimage, Voyage & Return. More details, including a call-for-submissions, to come.
